About the Role:

Reporting to a well-respected QLD State Manager, you will lead, develop and manage a diverse range of projects up to $5m within the aged-care, education and commercial space ensuring the highest possible levels of quality are delivered.

What will I be doing:

  • Detailed project programming and control and managing project progress and performance
  • Variation and contract negotiations
  • Managing financials across Projects, budgeting and forecasts
  • Design Management
  • Build long-term positive client relationships
  • Managing onsite subcontractors, trades and labour requirements
  • Managing defect rectification
  • Mentoring and coaching of Site teams
  • Establishing and ensuring compliance with all relevant WHS requirements

About You:

  • Minimum 2 years of Project Management experience within the Australian HVAC industry
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian Standards relevant to the HVAC industry
  • Certificate III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or equivalent
  • QBCC Mechanical Service – Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Occupational Licence
  • Project management skills with experience in handling competing priorities utilising outstanding organisational and planning ability
  • Proven ability to develop strong partnerships with and engage/influence key stakeholders
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trusting and respectful relationships at all levels
  • Experience in providing direction, feedback and coaching to a team
  • Ability to analyse and interpret complex activities and/or information to provide innovative solutions
  • Ability to manage and oversee a wide range of projects and to adapt to unique and challenging environments
  • A strong desire to accept a challenge and deliver results
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applications
