About the Role

Aspect Personnel is recruiting a Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager for a growing Melbourne-based contractor delivering civil works across live electrical infrastructure sites.

The role will support project delivery across substations, terminal stations, switchyards, HV/LV underground services, conduits, cable pits, trenching, equipment foundations, drainage and access roads.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate civil works across live electrical infrastructure and substation sites
Manage subcontractors, suppliers, site crews and daily project activities
Oversee procurement, QA, ITPs, SWMS, RFIs, variations, claims and reporting
Support delivery of conduits, cable pits, trenching, foundations, drainage and access roads
Review drawings, scopes and methodologies to identify delivery risks
Maintain safe, compliant and commercially controlled project delivery

Skills & Experience

Experience as a Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Junior PM or Project Manager
Direct exposure to live electrical infrastructure sites is strongly preferred
Experience across substations, terminal stations, switchyards or HV/LV underground works
Strong civil knowledge across conduits, pits, trenching, foundations, drainage and access roads
Ability to manage subcontractors, project documentation, QA and programme requirements
Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar qualification preferred
