About the Role
We’re looking for skilled machine operators to join a wind farm project commencing in Palmer, South Australia. With great hours and consistent work this project offers an amazing opportunity for local operators!
 
GPS Excavators and Dozers (Trimble)
Also available opportunities in Scrapers, Moxys/Dump Trucks, Rollers, Watercarts

What’s On Offer

• $38.36 – $48 per hour (depending on machine and experience)
• 50+ hour weeks available
• Good crew culture working with leading civil contractor
• Travel allowance – $21.94 per day
• Meal allowance – $18.51 (after 9.5 hours)

Duties:
Your day-to-day will depend on your machine, but may include

• Bulk earthworks and site preparation
• Hauling, loading and material movement
• Watering and dust suppression
• Pre-starts, shut-downs and general machine upkeep
• Operating machinery ranging from 15t–50t
• Experience with GPS systems (Topcon, Trimble or UTS) is highly regarded.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating civil, quarry, or bulk earthworks
• RII tickets and White Card
• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport
• Ability to work 5–6 days per week, including overtime when required
• Strong recent references
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to follow site rules (including no phone use on site)
