We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across a variety of projects and administrative responsibilities.
About the Role
The Project Coordinator is responsible for planning, organising and coordinating various aspects of a project to ensure that is completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of the Operations Director/Project Managers and the client. The Project Coordinator will deliver project communications, project reporting, & aid project management.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers with:
Coordinating multiple projects from commencement to completion.
Overview of projects onsite, assisting with work team direction and client acceptance of work completion.
Development of project plans, including schedules, timelines, and budgets.
Resource management including equipment and materials, driving efficiently to meet project goals.
Project documentation, including development of SWMS, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP’s), generation of Problem Identification Reports (PIR’s) and Objective Quality Evidence (OQE).
Troubleshooting problems to identify practical solutions with the team promptly.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a productive and harmonious work environment.
Support other departments and team members as required such as processing of invoices, daily timesheets, coordination of staff training and general administrative duties.
About You
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or prior experience in project coordination.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with a focus on Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to effectively plan and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.
Initiative & ability to be self-directed to tasks.
Positivity & willingness to learn.
A proactive approach toward teamwork.
Professional, friendly & polite telephone persona.
Have the ability to travel interstate if required.
Must hold or be eligible if required to obtain & maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance.
