LGM Industries is a leading construction and maintenance contractor specialising in structural, mechanical, and piping services for the Western Australian resource and energy sectors.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our high-performing team in a full-time permanent capacity.

This Perth-based role involves regular travel and site work across Perth and the Southwest and will require flexibility to work various rosters, both locally and away from home.

The Position

As a Project Coordinator with LGM, you will be responsible for delivering medium-sized capital improvement projects safely, on time, within budget, and to client specifications. Through strong leadership, communication and coordination, you will support our supervisors and tradespeople to successfully execute projects across multiple sites.

This is a Perth-based position with regular travel and rostered site work. The successful candidate must be competent in the following;

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the delivery of Structural, Mechanical and Piping (SMP) projects for both construction and maintenance.

  • Preparation of all project documentation, including methodologies, project management plans, work packs, ITPs and MTO's.

  • Monitor project schedules, budgets, cost control and reporting requirements.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents, specifications and standards.

  • Review and interpret commercial and contractual documents, with the ability to liaise with clients in relation to variations in work scopes and schedules.

  • Work closely with clients, supervisors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality and performance.

  • Confident in implementing and aligning project schedules to meet client demands.

  • Support QA/QC activities and ensure quality requirements are achieved.

  • Support HSEQ with safety investigations and corrective action implementation when required.

About You:

  • Minimum two years' experience in project coordination, project engineering or project management with a strong understanding of project delivery, scheduling, budgeting and cost control.

  • Experience running projects valued between $1M - $10M.

  • Experience coordinating SMP, fixed plant, shutdown, maintenance and/or capital projects.

  • A trade qualification or engineering degree (highly regarded).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel and MS Project.

  • Strong leadership, organisational, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated integrity, accountability and professionalism.

  • Willingness and ability to work away from home on roster cycles as project requirements demand.

  • Strong workplace health and safety knowledge with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
