ABOUT PALM PROJECTS

PALM Projects is a strategic design & construction studio specialising in workplace projects across Sydney and the Eastern Seaboard. We’re intentional, senior‑led, and people‑first – known for delivering smart, buildable, impactful solutions with a high‑touch, genuine client experience.

Our projects typically range from $150K to $4M, partnering with organisations relocating, expanding, or reimagining their workplaces. As our pipeline continues to grow, we’re looking for a practical and organised Project Coordinator to support the delivery of our projects across site, contracts and early estimating.

THE GIG

This is a hands‑on role sitting at the centre of project delivery and pre‑construction, supporting our Project Manager and Director across live workplace projects. You’ll work across site, office, and home – helping coordinate delivery, manage project administration, support procurement, and assist with early estimating and tendering.

We’re intentionally building out the PALM projects team and are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, commercially minded, and excited to grow with the business long term. This role would suit someone with 1–2 years industry experience who’s looking to step into a broader project delivery role with exposure across the full project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
Site Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site
  • Keep programmes on track and resolve issues quickly
  • Ensure works are progressing safely and efficiently
  • Support the day‑to‑day delivery of projects
Contracts & Commercial Support
  • Assist with procurement and subcontract engagement
  • Manage subcontract agreements and documentation
  • Track variations and cost movements
  • Support project reporting and cost visibility
Estimating Support
  • Assist with early pricing and trade engagement
  • Review trade quotes and scope alignment
  • Support budgeting and tender preparation where required
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We care more about attitude, initiative, and cultural fit than having every box ticked.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • 1–2 years’ experience in commercial fit‑out, refurbishment, or workplace construction
  • Exposure to site coordination, contracts administration, or project delivery
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail (especially at pace)
  • Practical problem‑solving skills and commercial awareness
  • Confidence communicating with trades, consultants, and clients
  • A willingness to learn, take ownership, and grow within a fast‑moving business li>

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who genuinely wants to be part of building something.

WHAT WE’LL GIVE YOU

If you bring initiative, curiosity, and a strong work ethic, we’ll give you:

  • Exposure across the full project lifecycle (pre‑construction to live project delivery)
  • Direct access to senior leadership and mentoring
  • A genuine pathway into project management
  • A flexible hybrid working environment
  • A small, supportive team where your impact is immediate
  • Interesting workplace projects across Sydney
  • A role that will evolve as PALM continues to grow
WHY NOW?

PALM is entering an exciting stage of growth, with a strong pipeline of workplace projects and long‑term client relationships continuing to expand.

As we scale, we’re focused on building a high‑performing projects team around good people – people who are practical, proactive, and excited by the opportunity to grow alongside the business.

If this sounds like you (or someone in your network), we’d love to hear from you.
