Join a growing organisation delivering impactful renewable energy projects across Australia. We are seeking a motivated and capable Project Officer to support the development and delivery of solar, wind, battery storage, and other sustainable energy initiatives.

The Role

This role supports the end-to-end coordination and delivery of renewable energy projects. Based in Sydney (with travel to project sites as required), this position plays a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from early-stage development through to completion.
  • Coordinate project schedules, documentation, reporting and communications to support effective delivery.
  • Support stakeholder and community engagement activities, including land access and consultation processes.
  • Assist in managing regulatory, environmental and planning approvals, ensuring ongoing compliance.
  • Support budget tracking, procurement processes and contract administration.
  • Prepare reports on project performance, risks and progress, supporting governance and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate project records, data and documentation.
  • Coordinate contractors and support site activities to ensure operational readiness at project handover.

About You

You are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a project-based environment. You bring strong coordination skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities while working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. environmental science, planning, engineering or similar).
  • Demonstrated experience supporting infrastructure, construction or renewable energy projects (desirable).
  • Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business systems.
  • A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.
  • Exposure to GIS or mapping tools (desirable).
