Project Manager – Electrical (ASP Level 1 & Level 2)

About the Company

Syscon, is a leading Level 1 & Level 2 Accredited Service Provider (ASP) delivering electrical infrastructure projects across Sydney, the Central Coast and Newcastle.

We specialise in overhead (OH) and underground (UG) electricity distribution networks, providing civil and electrical solutions for residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced Electrical Project Managers with strong ASP Level 1 & Level 2 experience and knowledge of DNSP network standards to join our team in Sydney, the Central Coast, and Newcastle.

The Role

We are looking for experienced Project Managers located in Sydney, Central Coast or Newcastle to oversee ASP Level 1 and Level 2 electrical projects within their region.

You will manage projects from planning through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and in compliance with DNSP standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage Level 1 & Level 2 ASP electrical projects from start to completion

• Plan project scope, timelines, resources and budgets

• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and site crews

• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships

• Ensure compliance with DNSP standards, ASP requirements and WHS regulations

• Monitor project budgets, cost control and reporting

• Identify and manage project risks and delivery challenges

• Maintain high standards of quality and safety on all projects

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in electrical distribution, utilities or civil construction

• Experience with ASP Level 1 and/or Level 2 projects

• Knowledge of DNSP network standards (Ausgrid, Essential Energy or Endeavour Energy)

• Ability to interpret electrical designs and construction drawings

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management

• Experience with DNSP portals, standards and approvals processes (desirable)

• Engineering or Construction Management qualification (desirable)

• Energy & Climate Change authorisation for ASP works (preferred)
