Engineering Project Manager

With strong growth plans and an exciting pipeline of projects, they are seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to play a key role in driving project delivery and supporting the continued evolution of their product portfolio.

This is a hands-on Engineering Project Manager position suited to someone who enjoys operating within a growing business where they can have genuine influence and impact. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will oversee the delivery of engineering and product development projects while leading a small team of engineers and coordinating stakeholders across the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of engineering and product development projects from concept through to implementation

• Manage and mentor a team of engineers, providing guidance, support and project direction

• Coordinate internal stakeholders across engineering, product management, design and manufacturing functions

• Drive project timelines, priorities and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes

• Work closely with suppliers and external partners to resolve technical and operational challenges

• Identify risks, remove roadblocks and proactively develop solutions to keep projects moving forward

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management frameworks, systems and processes

• Support the commercialisation and launch of new products into local and international markets

• Maintain visibility across multiple concurrent projects while ensuring high standards of quality and delivery

This engagement is expected to commence on a part-time basis (approximately 2–3 days per week or equivalent flexible arrangement) with an immediate start available.

• Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline

• Proven experience managing engineering, product development or manufacturing projects

• Experience leading small teams within a collaborative and fast-paced environment

• Comfortable operating within an SME where flexibility, initiative and ownership are highly valued

• Strong project management fundamentals with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
