About the role 

We have opportunities for experienced and driven Civil Supervisors & Project Managers, who display strong leadership and communication skills to join our Civil Works projects in North Queensland.

Reporting to the Construction Manager & or delegate, you will be the frontline management representative. As a supervisor you will be responsible for all assigned construction aspects of the project. You will be required to provide leadership to all subordinate team members across health, safety, environmental, quality and financial aspects.

Other role responsibilities as a supervisor:

• Schedule works and personnel to ensure effective management and continuation of works

• Interpret plans and drawings to ensure work is completed on time and to schedule

• Provide subordinate teams with strong leadership skills including motivating staff and leading by example

• Maintain all employee related documentation such as timesheets, daily diaries, incidents or reports

• Supervise and risk assess works and document all employee tasks i.e JSEA or SWMS

• Monitor the workplace and employee activities to ensure compliance with organisational procedures

As one of our Project Managers you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements. You will lead your project team, manage client and stakeholder relationships, oversee financial performance, and ensure effective risk, resource, and compliance management throughout the project lifecycle.
