Randstad are seeking immediate applications from suitable candidates for the role of Senior Electrical Project Manager within a leading mining and resources organisation. This contract opportunity is available to support ongoing asset upgrades and improve project performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans for capital projects, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Manage project stakeholders, including senior internal teams, contractors, and external vendors.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, develop contingency plans, and track progress effectively.
  • Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and results‑driven work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement and maintain project management methodologies and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular project updates and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 10 years of proven experience project‑managing brownfield capital projects within a mining environment.
  • Previous experience with HV, LV electrical and control systems.
  • Knowledge of electrical design, installation, and commissioning processes.
  • Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, statutory and regulatory frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement.
  • Highly technical and detail‑oriented.
  • Energetic with a positive, can‑do attitude.

This position will commence immediately and offers a 12‑month contract based in Adelaide with fortnightly site travel.
