THE OPPORTUNITY

Hosmed are growing, and they need a sharp Mechanical Engineer to take ownership of project delivery from design through to commissioning. You’ll work alongside the Engineering Manager on technically demanding projects across healthcare and research sectors, building skills that most engineers never get to develop.

This is a role for someone who wants depth, not breadth. You’ll go deep into a specialised field where your expertise will genuinely matter.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and coordinate the engineering and delivery of medical gas system projects from concept to completion

• Develop and manage 3D models and design documentation using Autodesk REVIT and BIM360/ACC

• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors and project milestones to ensure on-time, on-spec delivery

• Manage contract administration and maintain meticulous project records

• Engage directly with clients, consultants and stakeholders to drive outstanding project outcomes

• Champion quality and continuous improvement across your projects

WHAT YOU BRING

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related discipline)

• Demonstrated experience with Autodesk REVIT and BIM360 / ACC

• Background in building services, MEP, or process piping (specialist gas experience is a bonus, not a must)

• Strong project coordination instincts: you track the details and see the big picture

• A collaborative, client-focused mindset with excellent communication skills

• You’re proactive. You solve problems before they become issues.
