This is a high-autonomy, high-impact position. You'll own the full business development cycle in the healthcare space — from identifying decision-makers and building relationships through to converting opportunities into secured projects.
Working alongside our Client Relationship Manager, estimating team, and marketing function, you'll be the face of JDV in the healthcare market — trusted by hospital groups, specialist practices, GP owners, day surgeries, allied health operators, and healthcare property developers alike.
What You'll Be Doing
Building and maintaining relationships with healthcare clients — hospital administrators, practice managers, medical specialists, and allied health operators
Proactively identifying and pursuing new opportunities across greater Sydney and regional healthcare precincts
Managing a pipeline of leads and opportunities using Pipedrive, with accurate and timely records
Monitoring trends in healthcare delivery and infrastructure investment — primary care, aged care, mental health, specialist clinics, private hospital expansion
Collaborating with the bid team on EOIs, capability statements, and prequalification submissions
Building relationships with healthcare property developers, medical real estate agents, and infrastructure consultants to surface early-stage opportunities
Contributing market intelligence to inform the wider business development strategy
Re-engaging previous JDV healthcare contacts and identifying new referral channels through industry networks and events
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or client management within the healthcare, construction, or commercial property sector
A strong existing network within healthcare — or the ability to build one quickly
Understanding of the healthcare property landscape, including private hospital groups, medical centre developers, and co-located health precincts
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you can translate complex clinical and operational needs into compelling project conversations
CRM discipline and a structured approach to pipeline management
A self-starter mindset with the ability to operate with autonomy and accountability
