IT Project Manager - Device Rollout Project

Milestone IT is partnering with a leading healthcare organisation to recruit an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale device deployment initiative. This role will be critical in ensuring the successful rollout of devices across clinical and operational environments, with minimal disruption to patient care.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of device deployment projects across multiple sites
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and resources
• Coordinate with clinical, technical, and operational stakeholders
• Ensure deployments align with healthcare regulations, standards, and security requirements
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Oversee vendors and third-party providers involved in deployment
• Provide regular project updates to senior stakeholders and leadership teams
• Drive continuous improvement and best practices in deployment processes

 
Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering device deployment or rollout projects
• Previous experience working within healthcare environments (hospital, aged care, or clinical settings)
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and sensitivity to patient-facing environments
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-site projects
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience working with cross-functional technical teams

 
Desirable Qualifications

• Project Management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile)
• Experience with healthcare IT systems or infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with compliance standards relevant to healthcare
