Deliver a sustainable future with WA's landmark urea project!

Clough, as part of a Joint Venture with Saipem, is delivering Project 'CERES' — a landmark urea plant for Western Australia, set to be the largest of its kind in Australia and one of the largest in the world. The plant will install the most sustainable production processes and is expected to generate 2,000 jobs during the construction phase, delivering sustained benefits to the local community through career, training and business opportunities.

We are currently searching for a Project Controls Administrator to join our team in Perth. Reporting to the Construction Director, this role is primarily focused on cost control and financial reporting, while also supporting general administration requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update the project cost management system, ensuring accurate coding and allocation of committed, accrued, and actual costs.
  • General administration support.
  • Prepare and issue monthly cost reports including budget vs. actual analysis, cost-to-complete (CTC), and forecast-at-completion (FAC) for all work packages.
  • Support the identification, quantification, and tracking of cost trends, risks, and opportunities — escalating variances to the Project Controls Manager.
  • Assist in the preparation of cost estimates for variations, scope changes, and claims.
  • Coordinate accruals with site supervisors and subcontract administrators at period end to ensure completeness of cost reporting.

Key Requirements

  • Certificate III or above in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or equivalent industry experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a project controls, cost engineering, or project administration role on construction, oil & gas, or resources projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in cost control and financial reporting on major projects.
  • Proficiency in cost management systems and project controls tools (e.g. SAP, Oracle, EcoSys, or similar).
