Maintenance Boilermaker - Food Processing

Gathercole's provides an opportunity for a maintenance boilermaker wanting to build their career and be involved in the operations of a growing meat processing facility.  

We are a respected supplier of red meat products to local butcher shops and major Australian supermarkets. Our family company has been established for over 45 years and we are looking for an additional person with fabrication and maintenance experience to join our team.

This opportunity is there for someone who is self- motivated, dependable and has an eye for detail to assist with project work and preventative maintenance. 

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Metal fabrication for repair or replacement of required equipment

• Day to day plant maintenance

• Preventive, breakdown maintenance

• Able to work unsupervised

• Work in a team environment

Skills Required:

• Excellent mechanical skills

• Welding all metals

• Reading Drawings

• Problem solving

• Must hold current driver’s license

• Forklift license an advantage
