Dirty Boat Bottoms is South East Queensland’s leading underwater hull cleaning and marine maintenance company, servicing vessels from the Gold Coast to the Sunshine Coast for more than 25 years.

We are currently looking for reliable, motivated Casual Contract Divers to join our growing Gold Coast team based in Ashmore.

About the Role

This is a hands-on role involving underwater hull cleaning, vessel inspections, propeller cleans, anode replacement and general marine maintenance.

You’ll work independently and alongside other divers while representing Dirty Boat Bottoms in a professional manner with boat owners, marina staff, and the wider boating community.

Every day is different, with work ranging from luxury motor yachts and sailing vessels through to commercial and recreational boats.

• Confident in the water and physically fit

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Friendly and customer-focused

• Detail-oriented and proud of their workmanship

• Able to work safely and follow procedures

• Respectful of customer vessels and equipment

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

Essential Requirements

• Experience using SSBA and/or SCUBA equipment

• Own basic dive gear including wetsuit, mask, fins, and boots

• Current manual driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Strong communication skills

Highly Regarded

• Previous hull cleaning experience

• Commercial diving experience

• Marine industry or boating knowledge

• Boat handling experience
