Marine Service Technician - White Knight Marine Services
White Knight Marine Services is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Marine Service Technician to join our team in Hillarys. This is a great opportunity to work with a dynamic marine engineering business servicing both pleasure and commercial vessels across WA.
As authorised agents for leading OEM engines, generators, propulsion systems and as a trusted dealer for Sword Fighter Marine vessels, we pride ourselves on delivering high‑quality workmanship, reliable service, and genuine expertise.
About the Opportunity
In this full‑time role, you’ll be hands‑on across a wide range of marine mechanical work, including:
Engine rebuilds and overhauls
General servicing and maintenance
Fault diagnostics and troubleshooting
Repowering vessels
Marine engineering and system assessments
Drivetrain and propulsion system repairs
Propeller and shaft work
Parts management and ordering
Maintenance programming and planning
You’ll be working on a variety of vessels and equipment, supporting both scheduled and reactive work in a busy, well‑equipped workshop.

What We’re Looking For
Trade‑qualified Diesel Mechanic or Marine Technician
Experience working on marine engines (pleasure or commercial vessels)
Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving capability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and customer service skills
Commitment to safe work practices
We also welcome people with hands‑on engine room experience - such as Captains, Class 3 Engineers, or anyone who has been servicing vessels without formal trade qualifications. If you’ve built practical skills in the marine space, including experience similar to MED1 or MED2 engine‑room duties, we’re happy to have a chat.
